    Description

    Guaranteed rare original and authentic 1871 freight receipt from Vermont Central Railroad to John Calvin Coolidge Sr. (father of Calvin Coolidge)  for shipment of "2 cases" of unknown items delivered to Ludlow VT from Charleston (MA ?) The signature is from the freight company, not John Coolidge. Measures  3 1/2"  X  8 1/2"  . This receipt came from a large cache of receipts & Coolidge ephemera of a Connecticut collector. No stains, tears or repairs. Examine my pictures. Shipping is .06 First Class Mail (includes delivery confirmation).
