I RECENTLY ACQUIRED A SMALL ESTATE COLLECTION OF VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE FINE AND COSTUME JEWELRY AND ASSORTED ITEMS. THERE ARE MANY RARE FINDS AND SOME ARE SIGNED! LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE 1880'S ERA LAPEL PIN. IT IS CLEARLY HALLMARKED WITH A "H & O", WEIGHS APPROXIMTAELY 1.3 GRAMS AND MEASURES ABOUT 3/8" ACROSS. IT IS AN ENAMELED SHIELD WITH "P.O.S. OF A."IN RED AND BLACK WITH A STAR IN THE CENTER. IT HAS CERTAINLY BEEN WORN AND MUCH OF THE WHITE ENAMEL PROFILE HAS WORN AWAY. THE SHIELD IS IN AN OPEN WORK ROUND FRAME DECORATED WITH BLACK ENAMEL. IT IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER AND A WONDERFUL FIND.....
