The power switch is working properly and the blade spins smoothly. The built in sharpener sharpens the 12" blade as it spins. Ideal for processed meat and vegetables. According to my measurement this slicer will cut up to 3/4" thick. Disassembles easily without tools for cleaning. Manufactured for commercial use but still suitable for home use.

Complete and ready to use as soon as you receive it. The unit powers on and off using the on/off switch. The adjustable thickness knob is working properly and the chute mechanism moves smoothly. The motor runs strong and is very quiet. The arm and blade are securely held in place. It is easily disassembled for cleaning. All 4 rubber feet are good. The stones in the sharpener look good.
