COBI-3040 IS-7 Granite World of Tanks 844 construction blocks 1 figure Age group: 8+ IS-7 is a prototype Soviet heavy tank. The model was initially called Object 260 and was designed and manufactured in a Kirov factory in Leningrad. Ultimately, it was supposed to become the successor of the unsuccessful IS-4. Unfortunately, it did not pass the testing of the training ground. The development of the model was stopped by political in-fighting at the highest levels of power in the USSR. A characteristic feature of the model was the so-called nose of a pike - characteristic armored plates were supposed to facilitate the ricocheting of projectiles. A four-stroke M-50 diesel engine was used for propulsion, previously used in mass production in Soviet torpedo boats. Excellent driving properties were achieved at the cost of enormous fuel consumption. The streamlined tank was equipped with an S-70 cannon, 130 mm caliber, an anti-aircraft KPWT and several automatic machine guns on the tower and fuselage sides. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of World of Tanks launch, COBI company, together with Wargaming, has prepared a special anniversary set. The IS-7 Granite tank, with characteristic camouflage. The set is complemented by a special player figure with an anniversary print on the torso. The player is equipped with a laptop with an anniversary logo and headphones. The IS-7 model of the tank, made entirely of COBI building blocks, has many movable elements such as: opening hatches, movable gun barrel or rotating wheels and crawlers.
