Low-Profi le Raceway System The AVTrac is low profile, floor-mounted raceway system with a modular AAP - Architectural Adapter Plate enclosure and is used to safely and discreetly run power, data, and A/V cables from a wall out to a table, podium or other furniture. Offering an unobtrusive, low-profile design, AVTrac allows cables to safely traverse aisle ways, passages and other spaces where people or equipment move about.
ADA Compliant The low-profile raceway system incorporates two 8’ side ramps and two end transition ramps that comply with ADA - Americans with Disabilities Act standards for slope and rise, enabling AVTrac to be used in any environment where A/V devices require connectivity but are not near traditional cable runs.
2 Double-Space, 2 Triple-Space AAP Openings The modular AAP enclosure supports all of the Extron AAPs, with hundreds of models available to support popular audio, video, phone, power, and data connectors, creating a fully customizable connectivity solution.
Easy Access AAP Enclosure The enclosure has a removable top panel enabling convenient access for cable termination and connector installation.
Factory Installed AVTrac AC Power Module Both AVTrac models ship with a factory installed AVTrac AC Power Module with two Edison female AC outlets. Two additional AC outlets may be added using the optional AC Power Module Expansion Kit.
UL/CUL Listed AVTrac has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. to nationally recognized Safety Standards.
Cost-Effective Alternative to Power Poles, Poke-Through Devices and Trenching The innovative AVTrac is a cost-effective alternative to power poles, poke-through devices, floor channeling, and raised access flooring. It is ideal for use in classrooms, training facilities, and corporate boardrooms, as well as legacy installations, including architecturally significant environments.
Can Utilize Existing AC Power Outlets The AVTrac may be connected to existing power outlets saving time and installation costs.
Easily Moveable and Adaptable As connectivity locations and needs change the AVTrac may be disconnected and moved to a new location and the AAPs replaced to meet the new connectivity demands.
Accommodates Multiple Cable Types in a Single Channel Communications, A/V, and power cables may be located in the same channel using the supplied, properly shielded power cable
Pre-Packaged Convenience The floor mounted raceway kit is pre-packaged for convenience and includes the components and hardware necessary to install the 8' track on top of structured floor and the ramps under carpet. The AVTrac ships with 24' of flexible conduit that is pre-wired to the power module and is available in two models:
The AVTrac 480C accommodates commercial grade carpet between 1/4 inch and 5/16 inch thick in the aluminum raceway top cap, providing an aesthetically pleasing installation in any environment.
The AVTrac 480R includes a black Roppe® rubber strip for installation in the top cap, providing a durable surface in place of a carpet inlay
Both models include two 8' side ramps and two end transition ramps sloped to comply with ADA requirements.
Includes 2 Edison Female AC plugs pre-wired to a unique 24’ conduit for increased ease-of-installation.
Aluminum Inlay Cap Options Inlay existing or new, customer-selected commercial grade carpet to create an aesthetically pleasing installation for any environment. Inlay the included black Roppe®
