  • Condition: Everything functions as it is supposed to. With one notable exception which, ultimately, does not affect the machine's ability to perform as expected in daily use. This exception is that the slicer's index adjustment knob is slightly out of calibration. Normally, when the index knob is set to zero, the gauge plate is raised to the point which makes it impossible for an operator to accidentally cut their fingers against the edge of the blade. This safety feature is still available to the end-user but the indexing dial must be turned to the right past the zero marking on the dial to the index marking '74' to achieve the safety lock.To be clear, the gauge plate is fully adjustable to determine the thickness of the slices to be produced, but the dial needs to be adjusted to read zero when in the safety position. Other than that, the machine works well.

Carriage will take food up to 12" in width or 7 1/2" in diameter.  Gauge plate is a heavy aluminum casting with ribbed laminate stainless steel face for smoother feeding.
