    Description

I have for sale a political advertising fan, circa late 1920's & probably issued for the 1928 Presidential election campaign.  The fan is cardboard, it is 8 inches at the widest point and it is 10 5/8 inches long.  It does have stains on the obverse and reverse and a small bend at the top but over all this is a nice item.  On the front of the fan it has the photos & names of the president from George Washington to Calvin Coolidge & it also has the years they served as President.  In the center it shows a picture of the capitol building.  Under the photos at the handle it reads WHO'S NEXT - PRESIDENTS - OF THE - UNITED STATES -FROM - WASHINGTON - TO - COOLIDGE.  The next president elected was Herbert Hoover.  On the back of the fan there is the advertisement and it reads SEE - FRED PEFFER - FOR THAT PIANO - PLAYER PIANO OR GRAND - PHONOGRAPHS AND RECORDS - SPECIAL ATTENTION GIVEN TO PIANO TUNING - PRICES THE LOWEST - EVANS CITY, PA.  The handle is reinforced on the back.  Please see more in my EBAY STORE at TE COLLECTABLES.  (17,178)
