This sale is for the Antique N. R. Streeter Model #95  Sterling Slicer / Slicing Machine pictured. The Sterling 95 Slicer rivals  the extremely popular Berkel line of meat slicers in form and function and is more unusual than the typical Berkel Slicer.
With Berkel Slicers the blade revolves, and the table moves back and  forth. With a Sterling 95 Slicing Machine, the blade not only revolves, it also  moves back and forth with a sawing motion. The blade is damage free and sharp. Everything involved w/ the blade is present and operates  smoothly as you turn the crank handle. There is a video of it in action on my website Patented-Antiques. Ebay does not allow a link to that, but you should be able to figure it out.
The original paint is approx. 80 - 90 %. There has been  loss to the nickel on the plated flywheel and some other parts. There is some pitting on the meat tray  / table.
The sliding table, with various hold downs is not connected or hooked up. It  does not operate as it is misaligned. It is designed to move toward the blade in finely controlled increments along a spiral worm gear and that aspect is present but not functioning correctly.
There is little info or other examples of this slicer to be found using Google. A different  one can be seen in the past sales archives of my website AntiqBuyer.com.  Reference to another can be found on Facebook. N. R. Streeter is a well  known name for some rare and unusual pressing irons and animal traps as well as other cast iron kitchen related tools. You can also find ads online for the model 95 Sterling slicer offered by  the N. R. Streeter Company of Buffalo NY, and an earlier version offered by a firm named Anstice,  that Streeter bought out.
This Sterling 95 slicing machine would be a perfect  candidate for a full restoration and use in a upscale deli / sandwich shop,  or cleaned up a bit more and used as seen.
I disassembled it, and have it carefully boxed in a wooden crate that measures approx. 40 x 30 x 30 and weighs just under 300 lbs.  It can be safely shipped as machinery parts.  Any shipping to be arranged by buyer.  I can not / will not arrange shipping unless, or until paid.  I will not waste time getting quotes.
