-This is a rare original certificate qualifying Grant B. Cooper as an attorney and councilor for the Supreme Court of the United States in 1965.
-Cooper became the chief defense attorney in the murder trial against Sirhan Sirhan for the Robert F. Kennedy assassination.
-He also defended mob boss Johnny Roselli as well as representing celebrities Shirley Temple and Joan Bennett.
-Certificate is signed on bottom by the 14th Clerk of the Supreme Court John F. Davis, known for being the defense attorney for Alger Hiss in 1948 who was accused of soviet espionage by a former member of the US Communist Party.
